At the “base” is the Book Plus chassis of our fantastic Book Plus Modular, the system launched a year ago that has won the praise of the many families that have chosen it.

The innovation is all in the small carrycot and the seat, a real “surprise” when unfolding and folding. The strong point, in fact, is all in the compactness of the elements that when folded really take up very little space. The chassis can also be folded without having to remove the components, without having to remove the carrycot before storing.

Have you ever seen such a compact carrycot once folded? A real revolution for the new mum's daily life! The seat offers the same degree of practicality, ergonomics and quality. It is folded with the chassis and it takes up the same space whether facing the mother or straight ahead. It also offers a unique level of comfort thanks to the ergonomic sitting created with the clever use of soft material that follows and exalts the shape of the structure. The child maintains correct posture and the pushchair is much more compact when folded.

The new Book PopUp is yet another step forward in meeting the needs of Italian families. The Book PopUp system also includes the multi-award winning Primo Viaggio SL, available in the range of fabrics that characterize this innovative series. A special mini-site and catalogue are available for all the latest on the Book PopUp.

In this first week of October, the new Book PopUp will be presented to agents and retailers at the Open Doors event, created for employees. Have a guess? The word on the street is that there “infiltrator” from the Net will be present… Perhaps, umm, one of our mamma bloggers?

The Book Plus Modular 500 is made up of:

Book Plus chassis: this innovative book-fold chassis can be closed with just one hand. Central handle for collapsing the stroller and moving it comfortably on 2 wheels, like a trolley.

Reversible coordinated seat that can be used on the chassis, with hood, rain cover and leg cover.

Navetta XL, a bassinet approved for cars and that can be mounted on the chassis.

Primo Viaggio SL, a car seat that can be attached to the Book Plus chassis as well.

Bag: a large bag with a mat to change the baby on.

The 500 edition has details and inserts that match those of the FIAT 500 world. The seat cover is made of two soft and resistant pieces of jersey fabric with soft padding.

The “customized” one-piece handle is lined with eco-leather – just like the real steering wheel of the FIAT 500.

As you have discovered, the PegPerego parasol currently available does not fasten to the Book chassis. So now what?

You're just one step ahead of us: the parasol will soon be on sale, probably in early May. These last few months we've been working to “complete” our offerings connected with our latest “family jewel”. Just a little more patience, and then you can turn to your local dealer.

In the meantime, you could just open the hood.

If you have bought a Book stroller, you can open it up completely, including the rear section (see figure 11 on the instruction sheet)

The video on the features sheet, at around minute 0:50, might also be useful.

If, instead, you have chosen a Book Plus stroller, detach the buttons fastening the hood to the rear of the backrest and free the last section of the hood, folding it inwards. In this way you can create a sort of sunroof that you can move back and forwards as needed
