The wheels come with rubber tires, so that the tricycle can be used quietly even indoors, without the risk of slipping or damaging delicate floor surfaces. The front wheel is equipped with a freewheel for added safety and convenience: when Trillo is pushed by an adult, the freewheel blocks the pedals, even while the wheels are turning. Moreover, the freewheel allows the child to pedal forwards or backwards without interfering with the movement and speed of the wheel, which are dictated by the adult's pushing.

Trillo is recommended from the age of 2. The 3-point harness restrains the child without restricting movement.
