ComeGiocare, and we can only thank you because our Gaucho Superpower was proclaimed the winner in the outdoor games and sports category!

It's a great satisfaction for our top-performing toy dedicated to older children. Super fun, super-performance and super strength is offered in a single vehicle, distinguished by its unique steering rack.

Gaucho Superpower is the ideal vehicle for all adventures. It can travel on slopes that reach up to a 17% gradient and overcome all obstacles thanks to real shocks, a large ground clearance and extreme traction wheels coated in EVA rubber. Taking on that hill will be a breeze! It's a toy for two as it has ability to take along a travel companion, who can hold on to the handle on the passenger side as you approach your destination Gaucho Superpower is also super-equipped and includes an mp3-ready dashboard radio that can be removed. This way, you can alternate the sound of the horn with that of your favorite song.

Naturally, Gaucho Superpower offers all of Made in PegPerego's safety guarantees, and features a closed bottom to protect from electrical wires and a childproof battery fastener. The wheels are large and have a very wide -and therefore stable - structure, and the vehicle is equipped with a rollbar and sturdy bumpers as well as safety belts, adjustable to follow the growth of the driver and passenger. With its maximum speed of 10 km/h, Gaucho Superpower is indicated for ages 6 and up, and is meant to grow with children for a few years, thanks to its cozy cabin.

At our stand we presented the all-white glamour of Book Pure, combined with traditional colors such as white/blue and white/avana, and new color combinations like white/glicine and white/mediterranea.

Color marks the times, but no doubt innovation leaves a mark - the great success of our new Book Plus 51 chassis proves it.

It is a true gem of technology, function and design - only 51 cm wide, to overcome even the most difficult challenges. Its compact size is appreciated most when entering narrow places such as lifts or queuing at supermarket tills. The new chassis fits easily in the boot of smaller cars without removing the wheels - there is lots of room to spare.

Book Plus 51 combines the advantages of large wheels with reduced encumbrance, so urban and metropolitan moms do not have to give up the bigger wheels. The compact chassis guarantees a dynamic stroll even in urban settings and on all kinds of terrain. Pushing requires 30% less effort thanks to the 12 ball bearings that make this chassis incredibly easy to handle. The front wheels can be switched from locked to swiveling and back without bending - there is a practical switch command on the side of the chassis. Following the best PegPerego tradition, Book Plus 51 can be opened and folded with just one hand.

Here are the reasons for the prize we were awarded this year.

Peg Perego, for excelling in the field of  product research and design, for the Siesta Highchair.
Siesta is a multi-functional, super-compact high chair that grows with the  child - it is a comfortable recliner in the first few months, then it becomes a highchair for meals and playtime once the baby is six months old. The tray is removable, so Siesta can be used to seat the child at the table with the rest of the family.

On April 16 we celebrated the hundredth anniversary of his birth with a dedicated event, during which we unveiled the magnificent work of art we commissioned and that will welcome all the people who come to visit us in Arcore.

The memorial shows some of the significant moments in the history of our company and in the life of Giuseppe Perego. The founding father is seen working on a draftsman's table, facing away. There are workers in the production plant and two historical images - a pram going up stairs and the first toy car. From now on all our visitors will be welcomed by this panel as they enter and will be reminded of our history of success and commitment.
