Let us look at our 1993 fabrics catalogue.

Most fabrics have cheerful patterns, with flowers, little animals, stripes, abstract drawings. There may be no accounting for taste, and we can certainly say that these fabrics - which were very popular at the time - are very different from the bright, single-color fabrics that parents prefer today. After all, twenty years have passed!

One thing we do have to say - even back in 1993 our fabrics were treated to make them waterproof and anti-stain. It’s obviously worth it, isn’t it?

The car seat was already called Primo Viaggio but it was only the first of a long line. It matched bassinets and strollers and attached onto a base that was fixed onto the seat in the car.

Piumotta was the pram suitable for even the coldest winters thanks to Saccopiuma, the practical "stroller bag" made of a blanket and mattress kept together by a zip.

Pramette was one of our first integrated systems. This picture shows it as part of the pram.

Are ten years a lot or a few? For some kinds of products, ten years are an era - just think about changes in car safety regulations, which obviously affected all our car seats. Changes in style and design are the most obvious in other kinds of products. We always strived to manufacture practical, easy-to-use items.

It is touching to look back and find the “origins” of ideas, products and functions we still use today…
Something tells us that it won't be the last time we “jump back into the past”

The memorial shows some of the significant moments in the history of our company and in the life of Giuseppe Perego. The founding father is seen working on a draftsman's table, facing away. There are workers in the production plant and two historical images - a pram going up stairs and the first toy car. From now on all our visitors will be welcomed by this panel as they enter and will be reminded of our history of success and commitment.

We have an extra reason to toast to this victory because we believed in German soccer when nobody else did

For the second year in a row PegPerego is the official sponsor of SpVgg Röhrmoos, a German under-10 soccer team.

Will these young talents be future champions? We hope so and - for the time being - we will continue to support them enthusiastically! Also because their trainer is Luigi Pisano, an employee of ours, and his son is the attractive, curly-haired boy on the right.
